Combining political commentary from leading journalists, with sector specific insight from Secretaries of State, Ministers and MPs, The Parliamentary Review is an indispensable guide to industry best practice, which demonstrates how sector leaders have responded to challenges in the political and economic environment.
The Review has several editions, each focusing on an individual policy area with the strategic aim of raising standards by highlighting best practice. Cokebusters was pleased to be one of the fifteen companies selected to take part in the ‘Business and Industrial Strategy’ edition:
Chairman, John Phipps, and his daughter Victoria attended the annual gala at the Palace of Westminster on 21st September where they enjoyed meeting various dignitaries and entrepreneurs from a broad range of industries across the country. Speakers included well known parliamentarian, Sir Eric Pickles, footballer Frank Lampard and political commentator Andrew Neil. Both John and Victoria were particularly interested to listen to Andrew Neil’s thoughts on the return to two party politics; they came away feeling optimistic about the future of business in Britain. Despite the uncertain political times in which we are all operating, it is clear there is a great level of skill and enthusiasm for the opportunities ahead.
Being selected for the Parliamentary Review is a tribute to all staff at Cokebusters. Everyone plays their part: manufacturing machinery and pigs, maintenance and training programs, safety management, R&D, logistics – all of this valuably contributes to the quality of performance on site. By continuing and growing this combined service of decoking alongside tube inspection, Cokebusters looks to prosper existing client relationships across the globe, as well as seizing opportunities of working with new clients.
